In certain performance modes, the i3 has some features that are dependant on other situations. For example, if the accompaniment is on ..... you may not get the left section of the kb to respond. It will be easier to answer specific questions, and don't get discouraged if some people respond with less than helpful attitudes. There are LOTS of members on these forums that have WAY too much time on their hands.
Most of us will be glad to help if we can!

It sounds like the contacts under the buttons are old. This can be repaired, but I wouldn't have a clue as to how to do it myself.
My repair guy gets about $35 just to open up a kb ( and that's cheap! )...... the rest is subject to time and parts.

If you really need help - in the future, post your questions at the general arranger forum. You won't get as many smart a_s_s remarks.

Gee, Smart Ass is my middle name.

Okay, sorry to all offended.
My point of view remains the same. Take the thing to the shop and have someone fix it for you. On-line repairs only work if you have background in electronic repairs, tons of time and the right tools at your fingertips.
